La Lande is a tastefully restored, French 18th century character farmhouse offering gites, as well as bed & breakfast accommodation for holiday rentals in Normandy. We are set in a peaceful hamlet away from traffic, but within in a mile of the bustling medieval market town of Bricquebec, in the middle of the Manche Peninsula. A twenty minute drive through the rolling countryside of France, from the port at Cherbourg brings you to our front door where a warm welcome awaits you. We have miles of clean, beautiful Atlantic beaches within just 15 minutes drive & the D-Day landing beaches are also within easy reach.  World War II Battlefield tours of the D-Day sites can be arranged for you; personally tailored to take in your main points of interest. Our bed and breakfast is featured in Alastair Sawday's Special Places to Stay; 'French Bed & Breakfast' (entry 218). We offer you top quality B & B for your Normandy vacation; an enormous en-suite double bedroom with it's own sitting room & large bathroom.  Breakfast is served in the gardens in summer & the farmhouse kitchen otherwise. We will serve you delicious French croissants (fresh daily from the local bakery), bread & pastries, fruit & yogurts. Dinners by prior arrangement.

We have two beautiful, spacious, newly completed, 'gites' which is the French for holiday cottages. We've made a particular effort to focus on quality furnishings, delectably comfortable beds, a wealth of attractive, original features combined with all modern comforts, whilst remaining totally child-friendly. We've endeavoured to make your Normandy cottage like a home from home.

The gites each have their own terraces & our huge gardens offer plenty more space, swings & an in-ground trampoline, for children to play safely. Weekly rentals as well as weekends / long weekends available off season.
